Love.
We've all questioned love's meaning, its purpose, perhaps even it's very existence at one point or another. What is love? Is it a state of being, the be-all of possible emotions or is it merely a Hallmark-sentiment, saturated by years of norms and social constructions? What does it meant to feel or fall in love? And why then, is love so often associated with hurt when we're meant to believe love is one of the ultimate joys in life?
In this issue we explore the depths and boundaries of familial love, the development and oft destructive natures of obsessive and romantic love, and what it means to love oneself. Join us as we share our definitions of, misadventures in, and dreams of love in the 8th Issue of Compound Butter.
