Submissions

Hello friends and followers! We are working on our seventeenth issue and would like you to collaborate with us! We're looking for writers, artists, photographers, food lovers, and all around creative people to help make our next release awesome. Submit your work and help us curate the “Play" issue which will be released in Early Fall 2023. Check out the prompt below!

Interested? Submit your idea for a piece plus a link to a portfolio, instagram or site by going to our "Submit" section at the top of the page! It can be a pitch for something you’d like to create, existing work which you think fits the theme, or even just your portfolio if you would like to be considered to create imagery for an article or feature! If you would like to include attachments or the submit form does not work, then please email your submission directly to compoundbuttermag@gmail.com.

The deadline for submissions is April 24th, contributors will be alerted if they have been chosen within 3 weeks after the deadline so we can get the ball rolling. 

Note: At this time, we can offer contributors a small honorarium at the completion of the issue. We also offer a lengthy deadline to work around your schedule, as much creative freedom as possible, and full ownership of the finished work. Everyone that contributes receives a copy of the issue upon publication and a huge amount of thanks and appreciation from us!
